An exploration of formalism created by light, shape, and perspective
SCAN
A time-based translation blurring the lines between painting, performance, and image capture. Each "painting" occurs over a 15 minute long scan, allowing the scanner to translate the whole painting event into a single image.
REWIND
Exploring time-compression, a digital camera captures long-exposures of VHS tapes rewinding.
PROJECT
A pair of projectors are programmed to advance when sensing motion in frame of the projection. When the viewer is still, the slides do not advance. Each resulting "double-exposure" forms a unique image.
ASKEW ASK YOU
A book of questions, asked through photographs taken with Lomo-style snapshots from a digital toy camera.
